The share transfer process can be done either physically or electronically. Typically, the procedure below applies;

Once you are comfortable, the share transfer process starts with an agreement to complete the purchase. Even though there are no legal requirements for this step, always ensure that both parties document the agreement. The next step is to get a transfer form showing how many shares have been transferred with information for the parties involved. These shares will then be approved and you as the buyer will be issued a share certificate.
