A product that has been CE marked will have the letters CE appearing on them. This is a sign that the particular products are assessed and are up to the high EU safety, environmental protection, and health standards. Therefore, affixing the CE symbol on products shows that they meet the requirements set by European directives and can be sold in the European market. A genuine CE marking has the letters C and E formed by interlocking circles, the same radius, the same vertical dimensions, and some distance in between. This is unlike the China Export abbreviation, CE, with the 2 letters closer to one another, with no space in between. Therefore, you can look at the closeness of the letters to tell whether the mark is fake or not.
