CE marking is important for your products as evidence that they’ve passed through the assessment process and you can have them on the EU market. If you are doing business in the EU and are worried about CE marking, relax. It isn’t a requirement for all products. However, CE marking is necessary if you deal in the following product groups;
Notably, the above list highlights just a portion of the product groups. Don’t forget that some products must not bear the CE mark.
