Writing a will is an important step you take in estate planning. The following are some of the things to keep in mind before creating a will;

• The property and assets (both physical and digital) you own.
• The executor; someone trusted who will take care of your estates.
• Your beneficiaries; the ones that will inherit your property.
• A legal guardian for your kids. This way, the guardian can take custody, especially if the other parent is not alive.
• Think about all those who financially depend on you.
• The unexpected, e.g. death of a beneficiary before the will is needed
